ひたすらまっすぐな道を通っているときに気づくこと。前を見ると道はえんえんとつづき最後に遠近法によって閉じられる。視線を斜め下にうつしかえると道は閉じられることなくひたすら延長してゆく。いずれにしても前進が苦悩の種となるのはまさに道のほかにはなにもないという事実なのだ。
When passing the straight way earnestly, notice. When the front is seen, the way continues and is closed by perspective for end forever. It's being extended earnestly without the way's being closed when the eyes are transferred to the slanting bottom. Anyway, indeed it's the fact that everything else is pathless that an advance becomes the kind of anguish.
